2022 Memorial Day Parade: May 30
The Naperville Memorial Day Parade will step off at 10:30 a.m. on Mon., May 30, steps off from Jackson and West St. – East to Washington, North to Benton, East to SS Peter & Paul parking lot. It’s customary to hear applause and witness salutes from spectators who line the streets, recognizing the supreme sacrifice of many military families and that freedom isn’t free. Crowds also show rousing respect to units of veterans with flags and to marching bands with many musicians, young and old, performing patriotic songs to remind us that peaceful assembly is cherished in our world.
MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY IN CENTRAL PARK, after the parade, a 30 minute observance begins at 12:15PM May 30 at the Naperville Community Concert Center in Central Park. The ceremony welcomes all ages to commemorate the holiday with remembrances of sacrifice by honored veterans and patriotic music performed by the Naperville Municipal Band. Central Park is located at 104 E Benton Ave.
