St. Patrick’s Day Parade! March 12

The West Suburban Irish (WSI) is announcing the return of the Naperville St. Patrick’s Day Parade after a two year Covid-19 hiatus. The annual parade, now in its 26th year, is set to march down the streets of Naperville on Saturday, March 12, 2022 beginning at 10:00 AM.

The event will once again delight spectators from across the western suburbs with a mix of floats, marching bands, entertainers and St. Patrick himself. This year’s Grand Marshal, Dr. Mark Goodwin, has waited patiently for two years to lead the parade festivities. This year we are celebrating the health care workers for their tireless efforts to keep our community healthy especially during the past two years.

“We are so excited to bring back the Naperville St. Patrick’s Day Parade this year,” said Terry O’Dowd, Vice President of The West Suburban Irish. “It’s Naperville’s signature springtime event. We’re thrilled to welcome back parade watchers to experience it safely, live, and in person this March.”
WSI’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a family event celebrating Irish heritage and culture. It attracts over 3,000 participants and 15,000 spectators to downtown Naperville. Registration for parade participants and floats is now open at
