The Force will be strong in Downtown Naperville on MAY THE 4TH from 9:30AM-11:30AM as costumed characters from a galaxy far, far away will take over Water Street for a FREE family-friendly meet and greet!

This is the third year the Downtown Naperville Alliance has partnered with the 501st Midwest Garrison (a chapter of the 501st Legion, a community organization dedicated to giving back to local organizations with their passion and dedication to the characters they portray) for this event. “While the 501st Legion was initially founded to unite costumers with a penchant for Star Wars villainy, one of our real-world missions is to bring good to our communities through volunteer charity work,” says Ted Ruler, member of the 501st Midwest Garrison. “The 501st is always looking for opportunities to brighten the lives of the less fortunate and to bring awareness to positive causes on both a local and global scale.”
