To celebrate Naperville’s crown jewel, 2,026 plastic ducks will “race” in the DuPage River from the foot bridge near Centennial Park to the Eagle Street Bridge near the Naperville Municipal Center.
THE RACE WILL TAKE PLACE RAIN OR SHINE
Ducks can only be adopted online (starting April 20, 2026)
Duck racers do not have to be present to win.
Ducks are $10 each (3 for $25, 15 for $100)
Grand Prize: $1,981 (The year the Naperville Riverwalk was dedicated to celebrate the City’s bicentennial)
2nd Prize: $300 Downtown Naperville Gift Cards
3rd Prize: $150 Downtown Naperville Gift Cards
All proceeds will benefit the Riverwalk Foundation for education and enhancements along the winding brick paths of the city’s natural treasure in the heart of the central business district.
