Spring has sprung! Why not ring in the new season with your favorite fresh scent with this cozy and boozy candlemaking workshop on March 22nd. This deluxe candle project can be the perfect finishing touch on your spring cleaning or redecorating efforts!

Learn about the art and science of candlemaking as you craft your own handcrafted pet and eco-friendly candle! Choose from our selection of themed and seasonal scents to mix and pour in your favorite color of glossy pastel vessel with an iridescent finish and double cotton wicks! You’ll get a unique hands-on experience, and a clean burning candle to take home after the workshop. Keep it for yourself, or gift it to that special someone!

While you craft, enjoy the cozy atmosphere of Barrel & Heritage and enjoy a delicious wine flight or bourbon upgrade! These delicious artisan wines are made right here in Illinois and are the perfect pairing for your candle pour experience. 

Complimentary savory and sweet snacks are also provided during the workshop, including charcuterie and baked goods. This wax and wine workshop is a perfect creative activity to share with a friend or partner to welcome the first official weekend of Spring!

Each ticket includes:

  • Step by step candlemaking instruction by Tracey from Indigo Creations. Select your favorite seasonal scent from our collection, choose your favorite candle vessel, customize your label, and mix and pour your own handcrafted candle with this hands on experience. You will learn about the science, materials, and techniques of candlemaking in the process!
  • All materials needed to make your candle, ready to take home at the end of the workshop!
  • Complimentary snacks. Partake in a selection of snacks and sweets while you craft!
  • A wine flight or glass of artisan wine from our friends at Barrel & Heritage. Enjoy your choice of beverage made right here in Illinois — our treat! Bourbon/whiskey flight upgrades available at checkout. Additional drinks and light snacks are available to order separately.

The $60 ticket fee covers the full Wax & Wine workshop experience for one person, including candlemaking materials, instruction, wine flight or glass, and complimentary snacks.
